Angelina Jolie recently became the face of Louis Vuitton.
In a brand-new print ad for the brand's "Core Values" campaign, the actress' face is free of makeup, and her style extremely bland and casual.
Wearing her own casual clothes, Jolie savors a moment of Zen aboard a wooden boat floating in a marsh in Cambodia's Siem Reap province:
Unveiled by Women's Wear Daily, Jolie's stark portrait (weathered, monogrammed LV Alto bag at her side) was photographed by legendary Annie Leibovitz.
The photographer said she had to shoo Jolie's elder four kids out of the picture frame to get the Angelina Jolie photos that would be transformed into the ads.
"People are not used to seeing Angelina in this situation," Vuitton executive vice president Pietro Beccari tells WWD of the sanguine, makeup-free image.
The 36-year-old actress first discovered Cambodia in 2000 while filming Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, and is the birthplace of her eldest son Maddox, 10.
"I like the fact that it's a real moment," Beccari added. "This travel message we give through personal journeys is a fundamental one for the brand."
Jolie says she'll donate her earnings from this campaign (also featuring Bono, Sean Connery, Keith Richards and Catherine Deneuve) to charity.
The actress and Brad Pitt, who remain involved in charity and conservation work in Cambodia, recently donated $500,000 to Joplin, Missouri.
