Goodbye wrestling world, hello adult film world.
In an exclusive interview with THG today, Chyna made it very clear that her wrestling days are like her new co-stars: behind her.
"I'm definitely crossing over," the burgeoning, excited porn star said. "I'm thrilled with the decision, thrilled with the movie. It was a wonderful experience."
Indeed, Chyna is officially a Vivid girl now, having joined the biggest name in the pornography business for her first feature film, Backdoor to Chyna. It hits stores on June 27.
"My whole career has revolved around my body," she said when asked why she is choosing this profession. "As an athlete, as a model... this was a logical place to bring it to next... Wrestling and porn go hand in hand."
Was she afraid of any backlash from her long-time fans? No.
"All wrestling fans know the obstacles I've faced in the past," said the former Celebrity Rehab cast member. "They've seen the past few years of me getting pretty beat up. So I'm happy now and I hope wrestling fans are happy to see that. I really wanna do this."
But... why? It's hard not to ask that of someone entering the porn world.
"It's been therapeutic," she said. "They've treated me well. They paid well. I see no downside to this at all... it motivated to get into the gym everyday and I'm in the best shape of my life... the comradery among stars has been simply amazing."
Well, sure. You are working VERY closely on set.
Chyna is planning more movies and more appearances in the future. Laughing and saying she's from the wrestling world, so "I don't care what anyone thinks," it actually does sound like the troubled celebrity has found a place for herself.
"You feel like a movie star," she said of porn. "I love it."
