The iconic dress worn by Marilyn Monroe in “The Seven Year Itch” was sold to a collector who paid a hefty sum of $4.6 million.
Monroe’s dress was originally collected by Debbie Reynolds who intended to house her array of Hollywood goodies in a museum.
Other notable items auctioned off were Audrey Hepburn’s costume from “My Fair Lady,” and a headdress worn by Elizabeth Taylor in “Cleopatra.”
