Lauren Conrad and Kyle Howard Break Up

Lauren Conrad and Kyle Howard have broken up after three years of dating.

People confirmed the split late Friday, though neither party has commented.

The former reality star, 25, and actor, 33, deliberately kept their romance far away from cameras. But they have been spotted out and about all over Hollywood since they began dating in 2008 and never seemed anything but happy.



It's sad news, obviously, whenever a good relationship ends. But another will come along. When one door closes, another opens.

Clichy signs for Manchester City

Arsenal full-back Gael Clichy has signed a four-year deal with Premier League rivals Manchester City.

The 25-year-old moves to Eastlands for a reported fee of £7m.

The defender, who joined the Gunners from French club Cannes in 2003, is City boss Roberto Mancini's first signing of the summer.

"I'm really happy to be joining such a great club. I hope I can add to the quality we already have here because we have a fantastic squad," he said.

"I can't wait to get started and I think anything is possible with this team."

The defender, who joined the Gunners from French club Cannes in 2003 and has 10 France caps, will contest the City left-back position with Aleksandar Kolarov.

Clichy reportedly told Arsenal he wanted to leave last month, and had been linked with Liverpool and Roma.

The Frenchman spent the first half of his career with Arsenal as cover for Ashley Cole, but became a regular in Arsene Wenger's side over the past five seasons following Cole's move to Chelsea.

Clichy will be officially unveiled during City's forthcoming tour of the USA and Canada.

His move comes at a tricky time for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, with playmaker Cesc Fabregas again being linked with Barcelona.

Midfielder Sami Nasri has also been tipped to leave the club, and is thought to be a target for both Manchester City and Manchester United.

Al-Habsi completes Wigan move

Wigan have completed the signing of Bolton goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi after the clubs agreed a fee thought to be about £4m.

Al-Habsi spent all of last season on loan at the DW Stadium and was the Latics player of the year.

The Oman goalkeeper, one of manager Roberto Martinez's top transfer targets, signed a four-year deal.

"The chairman and everyone at the club are delighted that Ali will be staying at Wigan," said Martinez.

"I am very happy," said Al-Habsi. "I want to thank everyone at Bolton for helping me get established in this country but I need to be playing first-team football, and hopefully, if I can stay fit and keep doing my best, I will get the chance again at Wigan.

"I think the gaffer is building a really exciting young team here and I am thrilled that I can be part of that again."

Martinez added: "After making it really clear that he wanted to play for Wigan Athletic moving forwards, we've done everything possible to make this happen.

"Goalkeeping is a very specific position and we are very pleased that we are going to be very strong in that department."

Meanwhile, Bolton centre-back Gary Cahill returned to pre-season training along with his team-mates.

The 25-year-old England defender has been linked with a number of Premier League rivals, including Arsenal and Tottenham.

"Gary has been the subject of speculation every day, probably to the point he is frustrated by it," said Bolton manager Owen Coyle.

"If someone comes in with the right deal for Gary and the club, he would go with our blessing. But there has been nothing concrete. Until that changes, Gary is a Bolton player."

Joe Jonas played an acoustic set in Los Angeles yesterday, and the crowd when gaga for the singer. In return, he went Gaga for his fans!

In promotion of his upcoming solo album, Jonas helped open a new Microsoft store at the Westfield Century City with a live set of music. He did so by covering "Edge of Glory," a rendition that earned Joe the following Tweet from the Lady herself:

Kate Middleton, Prince William Greeted By Huge Crowds in Canada

Newly-married Kate Middleton and Prince William were greeted by huge crowds - and questions about their future family - in Canada this weekend.

While touring Quebec City, Kate was presented with a bouquet by a young admirer named Raffaela, 2, who was with her father David Cheater, 28.

Like many others, Cheater waited hours with his daughter to see the royal couple, who attended a ceremony honoring Canada's Royal 22nd Regiment.

"Kate said to me, 'What a beautiful daughter you have,'" he said after The Duchess laid her hand on the youngster's head and smiled at the little girl.

He added: "When I said to her I wished her and William well with starting their own family, she said, 'Yes, I hope to.'" So when will Kate get pregnant?

She didn't say, but watching them outside City Hall - where Prince William delivered a short speech entirely in French - they look quite smitten.

Sadly, not everyone present in the massive crowds welcomed the royal couple with open arms as they arrived in the streets of Old Quebec.

Their motorcade was greeted with about 200 protesters carrying the Quebec flag and signs in French that translated as "the king is me."

Kate and William waved to the masses of people lining the streets and didn't pay attention to the protesters standing about 100 feet away.

A 'source' tells the Daily Mail "Ash made it clear to all his friends that he wanted to win Cheryl back, and they've been properly in touch for the past six months, meeting at his brother Matty's house. They've spent so many evenings together, it was all like a covert operation. There was a kiss here and there, but things got a little bit more intimate just before Cheryl went to America."

Clichy undergoes Man City medical

Arsenal and France international defender Gael Clichy is undergoing a medical at Manchester City, BBC Sport has learned.

The 25-year-old full-back who joined the Gunners from French club Cannes in 2003, is out of contract at the Emirates Stadium next summer.

Clichy reportedly told Arsenal he wanted to leave last month, and had been linked with Liverpool and Roma.

But City are rivals for his signature, with the deal reportedly worth £7m.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger faces an anxious time with playmaker Cesc Fabregas again being linked with Barcelona.

The Gunners, who return for pre-season training this week ahead of a tour of Malaysia and China, have been strongly linked with a move for Bolton defender Gary Cahill.

"We are in a waiting period, everybody is waiting," said the Arsenal boss in an interview with Alsace TV.

"Everybody has their cards in their hands, hoping for the big transfer. There is nothing moving yet. The period will be more active at the end of July when we will need to really strengthen the team."

Wigan are set to complete the signing of Bolton goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi on a permanent basis after the clubs agreed a fee thought to be about £4m.

"We could easily have kept him but I have to be fair to Ali," Trotters boss Owen Coyle said.

"It is good business. If that is concluded, we will wish him well."

In real life, he was born on the third, and yesterday, wife Katie Holmes surprised him with a surprise 49th birthday bash at Miami Beach's SoHo Beach House.

Cruise's three kids – Suri, with Katie, and Connor and Isabella, from his marriage to Nicole Kidman – were all there to celebrate, along with 40 close friends.

The bash took place on the roof and inside the private venue, where guests enjoyed pasta, shrimp and other Italian dishes, in addition to chocolate cake.

Tom Cruise is in Florida now filming Rock of Ages. He's been a Hollywood rock star himself for almost three decades, with no signs of slowing down.

According to a publishing executive Maria could get more than 15 Million US Dollars for such a book, if she'd write about growing up a Kennedy, her life with (cheating) husband Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Arnie's lovechild with the housekeeper. When Maria decideds to take a publisher up on his/her offer, she stands to earn more than Bill Clinton, who received 15 Million USD for his memoir 'My Life'.

Maria has already written six successful books, among which are 'What's Happening to Grandpa?' and 'One More Thing Before You Go...'.
