Beyoncé Giselle Knowles was born on September 4, 1981, commonly known as Beyonce mononym. Beyonce is an American R & B recording artist, actress and fashion designer. Beyonce was born and raised in Houston, Texas, she enrolled in various performing arts schools. A normal childhood was not in the books for Beyonce. At 8 years, she met LaTavia Robertson while auditioning for music female group and Matthew Knowles, Beyonce's father and manager, later paired the two with LeToya Luckett. In 1992, cousin Kelly Rowland joined the group, and they performed together on Star Search. Beyonce rose to fame since the late 1990s as lead singer R & B girl group Destiny's Child.

In 2001, Beyoncé, Rowland, and Michelle Williams allowed themselves a break from singing group and tried their hands at individual solo careers. Before landing several movie roles, Beyonce became the first female artist of African-American and second woman ever to win the annual ASCAP Pop Songwriter of the Year Award. An appearance at the MTV drama Carmen: A Hip Hopera quickly followed, but her role as Foxxy Cleopatra in Austin Powers in Goldmember in 2002 that eventually moved Beyoncé from the stage to the screen. Beyonce then turned to acting, starring in MTV's "Carmen" with no previous training. In the summer of 2002, Beyoncé co-starred in Austin Powers in Goldmember role opposite Mike Myers' Austin Powers, as Foxxy Cleopatra. He also recorded the song and produced a music video, called "Work It Out", for the soundtrack of the movie. "Work It Out" is a top 10 hit in Britain and became a top 40 hit in the Netherlands, Australia, and Ireland, despite failing to Beyoncé's largest to date in their home country, in America, radio is almost playing a song and the video received very minor exposure, only on digital video channels, MTV Jams and VH1 Soul.

Beyonce third solo album was released on November 18, 2008. The album titled I AM ... Sasha Fierce contains 15 songs. The first single released is If I Were A Boy and Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It) on October 8, 2008. Then proceed with the release of singles on January 20, 2009 Hello and Diva on February 10, 2009.
