Robert Frost Biography. Robert Lee Frost was born on March 26, 1874 and died on January 29, 1963. Robert Frost was born in San Francisco, California. Robert Frost is American poet. His father William Frost, a journalist and Democrat excited. His mother, the former Isabelle Moody, back to his career as a teacher to support his family. The family lived in Lawrence, Massachusetts, with Frost's paternal grandfather, William Prescott Frost, who gave his grandson a good school. In 1892 Robert Frost graduated from high school and attended Dartmouth College for a few months. Over the next ten years he held various jobs. Robert Frost worked among others at the textile mill and taught Latin at his mother's school in Methuen, Massachusetts. In 1894 New York Independent published Frost's poem 'My Butterfly' and he had five personal poems printed. Robert Frost worked as a teacher and continues to write and publish poems in magazines. In 1895 he married a former school, Elinor White, they have six children.

He is highly regarded for realistic depiction of rural life and his commandments speak of everyday Americans. His work frequently used settings of rural life in New England in the early twentieth century, using them to examine the themes of the complex social and philosophical. A popular and often quoted poet, Robert Frost was honored frequently during his lifetime, receiving four Pulitzer Prizes for Poetry.

As part of a determined effort on behalf of itself, Frost had asked several prominent literary figures soon after his arrival in England. One of them is Ezra Pound, who wrote the first American review of Robert Frost verse for Harriet Munroe's Poetry magazine. (Though he disliked Pound, Frost and Pound instrumental in obtaining the release from long confinement in a hospital in Washington, DC, mentally.) Robert Frost is more impressed and more lastingly influenced by the Georgian poet called Lascelles Abercrombie, Rupert Brooke, and TE Hulme, the subject and rural style more in line with its own. While living near Georgia in Gloucestershire, Frost became very close to the brooding Welshman named Edward Thomas, who he urged to turn from prose to poetry. Thomas did, dedicating the first and only volume of verse to Frost before his death in World War I.

Robert Lee Frost died on January 29, 1963 and was buried in Old Bennington Cemetery in Bennington, Vermont.
