In 1950 Mother Teresa founded the Missionaries of Charity in Calcutta, India. For more than 45 years of Mother Teresa devoted her life to serving the poor, sick, orphans, and people died, while guiding the Missionaries of Charity's expansion, first throughout India and then in other countries.
