With no chance of a reconciliation, Maria Shriver has officially filed for divorce from Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Following a 25-year marriage, the legal filing comes after the couple split in May just days before the action star/politician stunned the world by confessing he had fathered a lovechild with a maid at the family home over a decade ago.
According to TMZ, Shriver filed divorce papers on Friday (July 1), citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason behind the parting.
The report adds that Maria is asking for spousal support and joint custody of the couple's minor children, Patrick, 17, and Christopher 13.
Shriver has also requested that her cheating ex-husband pay the attorneys fees for both parties, while she is being represented by top divorce lawyer Laura Wasser.
